The focus of this class is to experience the realm of fluid resonance in movement and breath. The human body is impregnated with the movements of water that we can decipher in bodily tissues, cells, and biologic systems. These movements convey health and nourishment for our well being and well functioning.
These movement classes are inspired by the Continuum philosophy, created by somatic pioneer Emilie Conrad. The class combines guided exercises with somatic explorations, energy work, and dance therapy, and it brings emphasis upon somatic awareness, and our often forgotten “felt-sense”.
The general content will focus on spinal movements, joints connections, breath, bones health, the awakening of attentional and sensory perception and creativity. We pay attention as well to specific issues addressed by the participants.
